Give and Take
by Marc Frey

A good way to attract positive circumstances into your life is to give without asking what you could or will get back for it. It’s a concept that is not always intuitively understood.

Our economic system promotes the exchange of goods and services for money, investments for returns etc. We are taught that we primarily give in order to get something back either immediately or in a certain timeframe.

The effectiveness of giving to others without expecting something back is in fact, although not widely promoted, a very real way of giving something to yourself.

You don’t have to be wealthy in material terms to give back. You can offer your expertise, your help, a service, a product or whatever you choose to give that is within your possibilities and of value to others.

By doing so you’re sending a message that you’re open to give and receive. You may or may not receive something back immediately, but at some point you will for sure get something back. It may be from a completely unexpected source and in a different form. It always works, try it.

“Those who bring sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves”, James Barrie
